Comments Thread For: Stiverne’s Trainer: If Klitschko Holds, We’ll Foul Him

LOS ANGELES -- Bermane Stiverne was all smiles after capturing a piece of the heavyweight world title Saturday night at the Galen Center, but while he was mum on discussing future bouts, his trainer Don House already had one in mind.

“Bermane can beat Wladimir Klitschko,” House told BoxingScene.com after Stiverne stopped Chris Arreola in the sixth round.

Klitschko, who cuts an imposing figure at 6-foot-6, currently owns the WBA, IBF and WBO versions of the heavyweight title. He and rising contender Deontay Wilder (a half-inch taller at 6-6.5) could be next on the horizon for House’s fighter, who stands 6-2 but is prepared for any tall order. [Click Here To Read More]

whoo! this is what we wanna hear, I don't believe he's capable of doing it but if he's able to keep Wlad honest then it'll be a great fight whilst it lasts

You'd have to fight him first

House and Stiverne may want to fight Wladimir, but Don King has other plans.

Stiverne would get DQed with that strategie. Wlad can get away with everything but his opponents can't. You call that homecooking.

Stiverne can move well. He came into the game late but he has a good bit of poise...its possible

Foul him? The Marcos Maidana strategy is spreading.

He shouldn't care. If he gets DQed, it's controversial, makes Wlad look terrible, and could potentially lead to a rematch with a fairer ref. It always annoys me how none of Wlad's opponents do anything about his holding. Punch him in the nuts, headbutt him, wrench his arm, do something.
