It's pretty funny how now everyone wants the rematch. But before this fans were like, we don't need to see a rematch.. Lol Which ever fight Floyd doesn't choose, that's who the fans b*tch about.

That'd be pathetic if Mayweather doesn't give Maidana the rematch. I feel Mayweather won the fight but Maidana made it tough and closer than anyone has against Mayweather for a very long time.

Maidana deserves a rematch and as everyone else has already pointed out in this thread, who else is going to do big numbers in September?

No need for a rematch as the win was convicing. People that think it was close, don't know boxing and/or don't know how to score and/or be drinking that haterade.

And why exactly? Floyd vs Cotto... same exact fighters ans both in a weight class where they don't belong. The more skilled fighter will prevail once again.

IMO Floyd vs Cotto was competitive but the Maidana fight was more competitive and more deserving of a rematch.

I'm with you 100%. And that's why I said if Floyd demands the same bs with the gloves then Maidana should play hardball. Tell him my MX Everlasts or no fight. Haymon and Showtime might have a serious talk with Floyd if he doesnt budge.

I would rather see Floyd vs khan, porter, Thurman, Garcia

But none seem viable for sept

Maidana rematch seems to be the most obvious to make

Yup. There's no way they would call off the fight over gloves. Then again, there won't be any need for drama since I'm sure now they'll be putting glove details in the contract (should they decide to have a rematch).

The main interest in a rematch is if the pillows did in fact make a difference
