This fight did what? ~850k? You figure with all the people who are demanding it that number will go up past 1mil in a rematch. My train of thought is this: If Floyd fights ANYONE (outside of Pac) other than Maidana that ~850k will dip drastically.

Maidana gave him a very hard fight so they don't want a rematch. He can't cherry pick Khan because of Khan's religious fasting. He needs to defend his 154 pound title or step down so other good 154 pounders have a chance to win the the title. Mayweather should be defending his 154 that he won at 152 pounds. He needs to fight the Lara-Canelo winner this September at the full limit of 154 pounds with no catch weight. If he can't defend his title once a year he needs to step down and concentrate on welterweights.
