Wilder's right hand is legit, but I'm not sure I can remember him ever doing much with the left. He's one dimensional in the extreme. Sadly that one dimension b might be enough in today's game.
SMH, Wilder wrecked Haye in sparring, he admitted as much without saying it.

David Haye is as proud as the come and when he basically says the guy hurt me with 16 oz gloves so I can only imagine what he is doing to guys with 10 oz gloves, you already know he is seriously downplaying how much he was hurt to begin with....means he was dropped.

        Great response!
Btw, did you know that Tyson Fury has 100% KO's against top 10 fighters? [Aka Steve Cunningham]

The worse thing management can do is put their fighter in fights that do not go more than 4 rounds because that sets them up for guaranteed failure by not developing stamina which is critical to long-term success and this tells me they are obviously protecting him for some reason. I suspect it comes down to his chin and legs which will fail him, maybe more so his stamina. He has a serious flaw and they want to cash out before he is exposed. That's why he hasn't fought anyone worthy of his top contender status.

They did the same thing with David Lemieux and I told people what happens when Lemieux goes past a few rounds and the guy in front of him hasn't fallen yet? The Rubio fight was an obvious setup that went wrong because Rubio had been stopped 2-3 times.....but Rubio didn't get the memo. I have seen the Lemieux situation played out more times than I can even count over the years. You would think by now in this day of age, no management would ever match a guy up where he has not fought past the 4th round to get to this "level". It's insane, but they are acting like they are protecting something vulnerable in Wilder. Some area, be it his chin, legs, or stamina will fail him big time but they are hoping to cash out before then. Every fighter that has ever lived, no matter how big a puncher faces guys that will barely flinch from their biggest shot, and then what? The deep blue sea is very deep after 4 rounds and because he is at this level of contender status, not having gone 4, 6, 8, or 10 full rounds, he cannot possibly have great stamina, it has to be built up over years, over distance fights, especially at heavyweight where the legs get tired sooner than in the lighter weight fighters. And he has no distance fights, not even a full 4 rounds. Recipe for disaster, BIG TIME. Once he is knocked out, he will still get fights but it will always come down to whether he goes or the other guy goes first, Russian roulette, two guys each with a bullet.
You hit the nail on the head there. The water is indeed very deep after the 4th round of a tough fight. If Wilder's handlers really had faith in him, they would have wanted him to experience that "sink or swim" feeling for himself, before allowing him to dive in at the deep end.
Instead, they have been ultra careful to ensure that he hasn't even gotten his feet wet before going for a world title.
I can't help thinking - there must be a reason for that.

yea,,,Im also not so sure wilder hits any harder. I think stiverne would have also mowed down all of wilder's opponents

Exactly....something is not adding up when it comes to Wilder and I think the answer will be forthcoming.
