But isn't the implication that Manny is generating his numbers in the absence of a decent support act, whereas Floyd is not? In other words, Pac sold his 700k largely by himself, while Floyd sold his 850k with the help of Khan and Broner.
That would indicate that the drawing power of the two is actually pretty close, which isn't the point they're trying to make I take it.
    that part will be ignored.

had I included the canelo ppv numbers, his numbers don't go down, that is why I didn't bring up a reason.

As for why the ghost/maidana fights didn't sell as much as say Hatton (950k) both are not well known and both fights didn't have a press tour.

I think we all realize casual purchasers don't buy ppv's for the undercard fights, they buy for the main event.

GBP puts good undercard fights on floyd's cards to get those fighters more exsposure. In turn, diehard boxing fans who may not have purchased the fight likely do. How many additional buys does that generate- IDK.

How many additional buys does that generate- IDK. But it can't be that substantial since most diehard fans usually buy fights.

As for help, how do Broner and Khan who haven't been on ppv help sales? This was the same thing we heard with Danny v Garcia on the Canelo card.

Yet whne danny fought by himself and Canelo headlined, it was clear the affect they had on sales wasn't what floyd dtractors made it out to be.

does seem to indicate that pac and may's drawing power are pretty close. Pac does 700k pretty much by himself and floyd does 850 with Kahn and Broner.

Bob seems to be ****ing things up royally by not giving pac a decent undercard.

LOL, the canelo fight was basically all on canelo. admit it. even during the weight in u can tell it was a pro canelo crowd. thats why his numbers did better with canelo as compare to guerrero and maidana. and i like how u now agree that casuals dont purchase fights for the under cards LOL!! causuals might not but khan and broner is NOT fighters that needs exposure, khan has his own fan base, prolly bigger than floyd! lmao!

That depends on how many people bought because of the under card that wouldn't have otherwise bought.

Floyd has been higher by 15-20% for a while (on average excluding the recent outlier which I think is fair), so say 1/3 of those solely bought because of the under card (which I think is generous in this situation, but would be less than when Canelo was his chief support). Floyd would be at 1/7 more which puts him dead on what has been, but if you think Mexicans helped Floyd more you could argue his position is stronger now as he held the same lead without a solid Mexican support.

Khan's fanbase has never had to purchase a ppv in the US, so the affect on US ppv sales, which is what we are discussing, is negligible at best. If he were a ppv fighter, he'd have been on ppv already.

If the Canelo fight was all canelo, why didn't he sell more than 350k with angulo? the crowd was pro canelo-same as the crows was pro JMM when he KO'd manny. IYO, does that fact suggest most of the ppv buys were because of JMM? My guess is, of course not.

There are always posters who will validate any ridiculous idea why floyd sells so long as they don't have to credit floyd.

Pac is all alone basically in every PPV fight, even Arum himself don't stack 'em undercards hence you got ***** TR undercards. ODOH Floyd's PPV fight's undercards almost every time is stacked.

Those facts alone proves drawing power for a fighter which The Floydstans are gonna be quick to dismiss, despite the fact of them being the PPV numbers hungry bunch.
You and rumack could be right. But why IYO then do those "stacked undercard" fighters fail to sell huge on ppv or draw huge TV ratings when they fight without floyd?
