It would be one hell of a fight but I feel Stiverne may have won a unanimous decision against Viltai. Everyone is talking about Wilder but I feel Stiverne is the best prospect in a long time to be a Klitschko. The guy is the real deal and I think at this point has more than enough to overwhelm and beat Wlad.
You my friend are DELUSIONAL just on your first sentence alone. Vitali has never lost 3 rds IN A fight but somehow loses 8rds to this guy. Klitschko didn't even lose 8 rds in his ENTIRE comeback spacing about a dozen fighters but keep feeding the forum garbage. This Stiverne has weaknesses such as low punch output... he's easy to hit.. he has counterpunching power & a flicking jab which will NOT work vs a Klitschko.
I wasn't really scoring rounds in the Arreola vs Stiverne fight because I knew it wouldn't go the distance. In my eyes Stiverne was baiting Arreola in and making him tired. Even if Vitali or Wlad would be given a gift decision in Germany, that still doesn't mean that in reality Stiverne lost. Also, Vitali faced Arreola in Los Angeles so there may have been a chance they'd meet there. Anyway, Stiverne is not an old 35-year-old. He still probably has a good three years left on the elite level in the division.
Vitali could fight this guy in Haiti & still win a unanimous decision. The Klitschko's unlike other fighters EARN there rds by dominating.. throwing more punches.. more jabs.. usually with a lot of force... rds aren't even close.. so there's no chance of tampering. When one outlands & outjabs his opponent while landing the harder shots... the other fighter's ONLY chance to win the rd is to drop him... Vitali's NEVER been dropped.... so this is why the other fighter is lucky to even win one rd on the average against him per bout.

yea,,,unless vitali really aged further there's no way in hell a guy like stiverne is going to out point vitali. hes just not active enough

I really do wonder what Vitali would look like after a more than 1 year lay off at the age of 41/42. Does add a bit of intrigue, and a shame that this fight didn't happen. Would have been a much better fight to end his career on than Diamond Boy.

oh,,,if they were to fight now I think id maybe actually favor stiverne. vitali looked very slow and old against chisora and charr and hes been inactive so hes probably shot to hell now

Hmm...I'm not sure...against Chisora he had the busted shoulder and Chisora is a come forward pressure fighter with a good gas tank, I don't think Bermane would do that. Against Charr...well, was a bit of a stinker but mainly because it didn't get a good conclusion. But Vitali was still dominating and would probably have ended it in the next rounds.
The question really is - would father time affect Vit's chin? I just don't see Stiverne beating VK on a decision, he hasn't got the work rate...and if Vit's chin is in tact, he's not getting stopped. Hard to say really...that's why it would have been a very interesting fight to call.
No doubt... wouldn't even be a problem IMO, Fury doesn't have the power to KO Stiverne IMO... if Stiverne is active enough and Fury starts brawling, he would get KTFO.
