Comments Thread For: King Says Hold Up, Wilder May Not Get Stiverne Next

LOS ANGELES --- Being the mandatory challenger doesn't mean you always get the next world title shot against the champion, especially, when Don King is involved.

The WBC had already deemed Deontay Wilder the mandatory challenger before Bermane Stiverne scored a brutal sixth-round knockout over Chris Arreola on Saturday night at USC's Galen Center on ESPN.

I'm not sure if it is a good idea to give Wilder more time to get experience, before this fight.

        Tri-angle Theory
        Stiverne ducks Wilder
        Wilder ducks Wlad
        Wlad ducks Stiverne

Result = Heavy weight boxing is stale.

Theyve wrestled the title back to America with full intent on it going to Wilder and Don Kings ended up getting his hands on it. He's going to try to keep his creepy old hands on it as long as possible, just desserts.

                Oh ffs

"Those 6-4, 6-7, 6-9 guys, I never worry about those type of guys," House said. "You know, (Mike) Tyson ate those guys up. (Stiverne has the) same body frame as Tyson. We got the strength. We got the power. These guys are so tall we eat 'em all up."

Lol @ body type. Stiverne is faaaaar from a Tyson. Real far.

King is going to milk this for all it's worth. Horrible that he has a piece of the heavyweight title right now. He is already starting his BS. I like Stiverne but I hope he loses the belt soon just so Don King will go away

as I said yesterday Don King likes those british pounds...british PPV money would give him lots of those... haye is the one guy king has done lucrative business with & he fights on PPV in England. haye is unreliable but with the WBC title at stake & a possible big money rematch with wlad who would be 39 by the time it happens could be too much to pass on. does anyone really think haye isn't coming back? I just have this feeling all the bad blood between stiverne & king the last few years could end up biting stiverne in the ass. king used valuev as a sacrificial lamb & he could do the same thing to stiverne. even if stiverne beat haye king would make boat loads of money.
