They didn't deem them illegal, they simply upheld Floyd's complaint.

And stop with the no padding BS, there was clearly padding in the gloves. To what extent I don't know, but there was clearly something underneath the leather at is was padded and held it shape in areas.

My apologies for the hyperbole, but I meant the gloves that didn't have padding in them that the commission deemed adequate. My issue is that Maidana and Team Garcia selected the blue gloves and if Mayweather wasn't paying attention then Maidana would've had a chance to use those gloves.

Uhhh god, Floyd rejected a total of TEN pairs of gloves. MX and Cleto Reyes as well, all stock gloves. Basically, at the last minute Floyd would not allow him to wear a punchers glove.

Francisco Aguilar, chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission, examined those gloves and ruled they were unfit for competition because of the distribution of padding. He didn't just agree because Floyd said so, he examined them himself after it was brought to his attention by Floyd.

I think Floyd should have let him wear those but we have to see things from Floyd POV, Maidana and his camp elect to use gloves that are later considered "unfit for competition". That probably pissed Floyd off that they were trying to pull a fast one. If Floyd knew the gloves weren't quality gloves then why didn't Marcos or anyone of his team of boxing minds? They tried to cheat so Floyd cheated them. That's the only thing I can think of as to why he didn't let Marcos wear the red mx.

NSAC approved the red stock pair. Floyd said "nah" that's what happened.

I'm not implying you are lying but can you post a source about the 10 pairs of gloves?

What do you think Chino was over with Everlast helping them remove padding from the glove? They have an interview on Youtube with the guy from Everlast that makes the MX gloves and he said there is no difference in the padding with the blue and red ones. The only difference is they used a different color for Chino. He also said that they compared the red approved gloves and the questionable blue ones and there was no difference at all. If there was then why would Mayweather have a problem with the red ones.

Here is the thing the **** is that Fighters are Fighters and 99% of fighters don't have a problem with punchers gloves, but Mayweather is special. There have been many championship fights with the exact gloves. The whole padding issue is bull****, all punchers gloves are the same way. If you ever tried on a pair of reyes gloves you'll notice the difference. They are fighters gloves meant to be worn by a puncher and honestly they usually give the best performances. Think of Marquez VS pacquiao fights, mosley vs margarito, barrera vs morales, corrales vs castillo.

I don't think its right to consider a fighter TBE when he can't find like other fighters that earn fight of the year with their courage and performances. If 99% of fighters don't mind fighting with them, then that 1% shouldn't be looked at the same way they are.

I still don't know why people keep going off about the damn gloves. It's not like Maidana actually landed anything hard like Mosley or Judah did.

I liked the All Access episodes but this epilogue is weak , like someone stated here already they showed the kids too much and there wasn't any post fight footage that we haven't seen already.

I hope they upload the fight soon.
