Yeah, more money in those fights. As I said, GGG is not looking to dispute Ward's claim as best SMW in the world. He's just arriving on the big stage: Ward is high risk-low reward, Kessler and Chavez are not. I'm not saying Kessler would be an easy fight, but definitely more interesting at this point then Ward.
I means seriously... Why in the world would GGG risk his current popularity fighting a technically excellent guy with an ugly and akward style, who never comes out of his backyard, has little to no following, and who nobody except hardcore boxing fans know? Why would he?
Especially knowing that he can still do that in two years time...
"Golovkin’s built his reputation on saying he’ll fight anybody. I raise my hand and say I’m somebody. Let’s do it. [But] nothing. And then they circumvent and try to go to Chavez. First they said we’re going to stay at 160 and clean it out. Then Chavez fell through and now it’s something else,” Ward would tell BoxingScene and other members of the media.
So now the GGG fans are ducking Ward for him? I thought after the Chavez debacle he was going back down to 160, this team is a bunch of opportunists. Real fighters want to fight and beat the best to be called the best, and get off the monkey see monkey do bandwagon about how boring Andre Ward is. What is boring about Andre Ward? The man takes all of your weapons away then beats the fight out of you - learn the sport you guys claim to love, I think you guys like street fighting where there is usually a bully(GGG) and someone who has heart but knows he cannot win, so he just lays down eventually - GTFOH
If you gotta a response come correct - get of that keyboard **** in da booty shyt...
Look: nobody wants to fight Golovkin at 160, as nobody wants to fight Ward at 168... In order to fight Ward eventually, GGG has to take a solid tune up at 168... Golovkin is not as ****** as Sad Chad -- I guess.

DO People even read the articles? "The fight was immediately shot down" as Kessler needs 4-6 months to get into fighting shape. Obviously this is a non story, fight cannot happen in July. Maybe later in the year though.
