1-5 were Maidana rounds. 8 was close. 12 I'm not sure how anyone can give that to Floyd. He didn't do anything; same mistake JMM made in the 3rd Pacquiao fight.

People just LOOK for rounds to give to Floyd. And excuses to discount Maidana's work. People don't realize Maidana was landing all night long behind Floyd's guard (thanks to awkward looping shots) and THROUGH it as well. We see these laughable videos that only look for certain things and don't account for the whole picture.

It's to be expected though I suppose. He's the lineal undefeated champion. I personally think it's nearly impossible to decision him. His style.. Flashy shots, ability to play off big shots, and defense....not to mention his economic influence...ensures he will get the decision every time. Unless it's Canelo or somebody... Notice that kid got a draw vote and did jack ****.

It's because he's perceived as very economically viable.

I'll say this. If this exact same fight had unfolded with Canelo instead of Maidana, Canelo would have WON.

            This post right here.

Floyd will NEVER lose in Vegas unless he gets ktfo.

Canelo didn't do crap all night and you can barely find 3 rounds to give him (I think Canelo won a round maybe 2) and he had gotten a draw (CJ Ross)

IMO Maidana earned his draw. Any unbiased fan can look at this fight and find 6 rounds to give to Maidana.

Marcos dictated the pace of the fight, was landing shots, and was much more active than Floyd. 115-113 either way or a draw is acceptable for me.

I gave Maidana the 1,4,5 and 6, Floyd won 7-12 for me. Anyone who thinks Maidana won the 12th, should not score shyt.

First off, why do you have to "find" rounds to give to Maidana? Why can't you just score who is doing the cleaner and more effective work.

Secondly, dictating the pace of the fight and being more active doesn't mean **** if your not landing the more clean, effective punches. 80% of the boxing scoring system is clean, effective punches.

That's why only 8% of the press scores scored the fight for Maidana. He did a good job of forcing Floyd to the ropes but once he got him there, he was smothering himself and not missing a whole lot more than he was landing.

floyd meanwhile controlled about 2min 45sec of the round landing great punches of his own and many more of them.

three body shots and an overhand right doesnt win a round when the other guy puts in work like floyd did.
So Floyd controlled the 2min 45sec of the round by staying on the ropes for 2min 45sec of the round and throwing 20 punches... while continuously getting hit by left hooks to the body and head and a hammer right hand Maidana kept landing on top of Floyd's head.

my score 8 - 4 maidana or 10 - 2 if i gave the other two rds to him but what the heck i gave it to fraud instead.
lol - too bad ariza does not agree with your score card and he's in chino's corner. you're just too funny with the scoring. if chino's corner can concede the lost, why is it so hard for you to do the same?

I felt it was a close fight 115-113 Floyd. no matter how you want to look at it chino lost and admits defeat. I may be in the minority but I believe they'll do it again in sept. if they do, the fight won't be close and chino will lose again
