situation is completely different.

floyd brought this whole glove issue on himself by being a scared diva. if he wanted to restore his reputation he should have let maidana use whatever gloves he wants in the rematch.

floyd promised garcia that he would let them use their gloves. they shook on it.

plus after the fight there was the question that many people had of how different the fight would be if maidana got to wear his preferred gloves, but we'll never get to know now because floyd is a diva princess.
