You look at Porters last 10 fights, only 3 were TKO's. He is no Thurmann/Maidana in the power stakes, i know he scored a TKO over Paulie, but we are talking about a Paulie, he is washed up, punch resistance at an all time low. It was Porters first TKO in what 2 years?

Porter is a winnable fight for Khan, i'm not sure why people are making Porter out to be Mike Tyson just because he floored Paulie. I think Brook stands a good chance of beating Porter as well
I never said any of that. I think Khan can beat Porter, too. All I said was that Guerrero has the best risk/reward ratio for Khan. Good name value and little threat. Porter is just getting some recognition, and he is very much a threat (though I would pick Khan to beat him).

My bad my post wasnt directed at you personally

Just reading guys talking about Porter knocking this boxer out and that boxer out but in over 2 years he only scored one tko

The Ghost wud be a good measuring stone for Khan, especially if Khan can do a better job than Floyd

That's exactly why Khan wants Guerrero. I don't think he's a bum, but he hasn't fought in a year, since he fought Mayweather. He has a fight coming up in June against Yoshihiro Kamegai (who?). Guerrero also has a 50% KO ratio, which may favor Khan. Fighting Alexander at this point is useless in the quest for Floyd. He needs to fight someone who has fought Mayweather, or is in the running to fight him. Unfortunately, most of those choices are dangerous. Maidana can hurt him, as can Porter or Thurman. The ghost is his best choice now, but even he may not be as easy as Khan would like.

I agree. Porter & Thurman need to fight each other.

I actually agree. I think the Ghost is a perfect next step at Welter for Kahn.

Yeah, Porter is not everything he is made out to be, but he is easily better than the Ghost. Bigger, faster, more powerful, physically stronger.

I'm pretty sure Khan would do a better job on Guerrero than Floyd. And now that he learned not to be too brave in the ring, it's time for him to master the art of cherry picking, too. (And I mean it in a good way, I'm a big Khan fan.)

I love that Khan wants to continuously fight the best opposition out there. Hopefully he can get in the ring with Guerrero while Porter and Thurman clash in December

Guerrero got the biggest payday of his life for a fight he couldn't have dreamed of, it was ridiculous but hey he got that money and now he's enjoying it. But think he has a fight with some Jap later this year.

So now we know whoever Khan faces will be a top 10 WW and when he demolishes them, we'll see the excuses by haters calling them "bums"

Khan has almost exclusively fought the best guys in his division, Judah, Paulie, Kotelnik, Maidana, Garci, Peterson and so on. Why he gets hate I dunno.

If he beats any of the above then I 100% support Khan vs. Mayweather.

I've been saying that Khan would fight Guerrero next. He has a solid name and isn't a big puncher. Khan will be too fast for him imo. Guerrero will definitely be game though. If he does end up fighting Guerrero, he'll pursue Floyd after that. He's not fighting Guerrero and then Porter/Maidana. He'll fight Floyd in May.
