The thing is neither one is likely to make him look very good (particularly Alexander). A win against a top guy who can challenge Khan's biggest weakness on the other hand...

Yeah, I don't think so either! But that was my point exactly.

Decent names and very winnable fights.

      Easiest way to Mayweather.

Am I the only one who doesn't feel comfortable (for Kahn) with him facing ANY of thise guys? Outside maybe Guerrero (I dont see him trying to out dirty Guerrero... Or Maidana )I don't see how he makes it to the 12th with Porter or Maidana.

Guerrero got his paycheck vs Floyd and now it's over with for him
he's going nowhere at WW and should go down to JWW or LW
            Khan-Porter or Khan-Maidana 2 sounds good though
Porter's picking up steam and he could use another name opponent
Maidana, in lieu of a Floyd rematch, will want another name himself
Khan beat him clearly at JWW, but he has more WW clout than Khan
would rather see either of those 2 fights than Floyd-Khan

Stay away from Thurman. Smart move..
Alexander will be next. Light hitter ranked top 10.

                Stay away from Thurman? Meh

Maidana under Garcia is twice as scary an opponent for Khan.

Guerrero would be a very winnable fight for Khan. At WW he isn't much of a puncher, so Khan's weak chin would be less of an issue. He is quasi-slick on the outside, and his "inside game" is pretty much holding and crude arm punching. Khan is much faster than him and probably physically stronger, too.

Khan by very wide UD or late stoppage. Guerrero is probably the best possible choice for him right now. Good name value and not much of a threat.

If you look at the top 10 WW, how many of them are punchers though?

                      Thurmann, Maidana,?

You look at Porters last 10 fights, only 3 were TKO's. He is no Thurmann/Maidana in the power stakes, i know he scored a TKO over Paulie, but we are talking about a Paulie, he is washed up, punch resistance at an all time low. It was Porters first TKO in what 2 years?

Porter is a winnable fight for Khan, i'm not sure why people are making Porter out to be Mike Tyson just because he floored Paulie. I think Brook stands a good chance of beating Porter as well
