There have been changes in the months since the last update but one thing remains the same: Floyd Mayweather is still undefeated.

It was closer this time though.

Mayweather had his hands full with rugged Marcos Maidana in their Welterweight unification tilt and had to call on all his skills to forge his latest win. Was the competitive contest enough to move the top slot?

Why hasnt Marcos Maidana gotten recognition for his shooting star like Performances over his last 5 fights? Martinez, SotoKarass, Lopez, Broner, And Floyd. Official scorecards are what they are but anyone with eyes and a brain knows Floyd was taken through Hell by Chino Maidana, irrespective of what someone scribbles on a scorecard. The p4p #1 is still #1 yet the guy that just took him to the brink is nowhere to be seen.

P4p lists are a sham. Cliff, I remember you picked Broner over Maidana... its about time you start showing Chino some recognition.

Duran was fighting what was supposed to be a unification fight in a division where he won a title. Hearns was a bad match. They were both Jr. Middles at the time. Outside of Marquez, there were conditions to the other two stops. Pac's first stop loss was arguably not even on a punch. Low blow/headbutt simultaneous. Medgoen he was drained dead trying to make 112 and missed and went down on a so-so body shot. Marquez and he are roughly the same size and always have been. They've always been evenly matched. You're nitpicking one of the best fighters of the last 20 years.

Manny got knocked out in a fake title match by a lightweight and if we look at the weights on fight night, Pacquiao was heavier. Anyway it doesn't matter how or why he got knocked out but the fact of the matter is that he was layed unconscious. Since that fight they kept him in the P4P list and he moved up for beating a light weight everlast punching bag who already got punched up in their last fight. He didn't look impressive in the Bradley fight, just got hit by big shots until the other guy weirdly stop punching. He has shown nothing that will have him supplant fighters like Mayweather, Ward, Rigondeaux, Wladimir, Martinez, Gonzalez, B-Hop, Both Garcias, etc. Any of these guys I named got put to sleep Manny, would not have even been on the list or close, they already find excuses to dispute the validity of their place on it. Pacquiao has only shown less stamina, more susceptible to getting hurt, no power in punches, and timidness, yet they always find an excuse to move him up the list and keep him there. It needs to stop..
