Oh, they count. They just won't count enough when Floyd is landing head AND body shot 50% a clip.

They count alright, but that's not how he consistently attacked the body though. By the way Mayweather won that round lol

It's called breaking down your opponent.

Floyd slowing down which was evident in the fight is due to....

          TING! TING! TING!

THE BODY SHOTS. Liver shots, kidney shots, punching bag shots were all over the place.

Are fighters allowed to inject xylocaine around the ribs if they have brittle bones?

Sometimes body shots are more significant than head hunting. You can control your opponents durability by investing in body shots.

With all the amount of body shots that landed in Floyd's rib cage. He must be on xylocain alright.

Those punches can make you piss blood for a month.

Serious note, Floyd gives his body up and never looks phased because of it. He'd much rather get hit to the body than the face. And he makes that very clear during his defensive stretches during a figh.

My point, he gives his body away thus it looks like a big weakness. In reality, it's his choice to.

For the record, I'm not a Mayweather fan.
This pretty much sums it up.

Too bad the fight wasn't decided on one 4-second burst.
