  • Floyd's weakness. Body shots.

*note: this is a Floyd analysis thread

    He is a defensive maestro.

But I've been seeing in most of his fights where he has always been open to

    THE BODY.

His opponents don't exploit it that much except for Maidana. When Floyd is Covering his face and covering his upper part with his shoulder roll, His stomach has always been open for hooks and stiff jabs to the body.

If you hit him in the body. His hands goes down, then that's when you hit his head. As how Maidana has been doing. He starts with the body and ends of throwing his overhand right to the head.

It's the body shots that starts it. Even when Mayweather is backing up. Floyd is open for right hooks to the body as how Maidana demonstrated it.

EASY TO GET HIT CLEANLY. EVEN WHILE FLOYD WAS BACKING UP THOSE RIGHT HOOKS TO THE THE BODY BY MAIDANA WAS LANDING EASILY.

BODY SHOTS evident here. Maidana run with it, and kept on starting his offense with it. Rinse repeat for 12 rounds. This revelation should be the key to all Floyd future opponents. Get Floyd to respect your body shots and his head will fall.

Not sure what round it was; but Maidana landed a left hook to the body and Floyd entire body shook

Right back at it after a ban doe? Lol.

Serious note, Floyd gives his body up and never looks phased because of it. He'd much rather get hit to the body than the face. And he makes that very clear during his defensive stretches during a figh.

My point, he gives his body away thus it looks like a big weakness. In reality, it's his choice to.

For the record, I'm not a Mayweather fan.

honestly, tell me the truth, we will pretend this is a one on one conversation.

How did you feel when jmm stood on pacs toe and gave him the 'gts' (go to sleep)?

And how did you feel when tim bradley stood on the turnbuckle as the NEW?

You should had said the jab... He hates the jab, it don't even have to touch him.

Floyd's weakness is his own hands.

I dont know the last time I saw Floyd put together a nice combo. I'm guessing it's because his hands are so brittle that he only wants to commit to one shot at a time to save himself some pain.
