floyd is a great defensive fighter. part of that is not getting hit but another part is that when you do get hit its with the right kind of punches from your perspective.

at the end of the day everyone gets hit, its no getting around it. but you would rather get hit with a jab than a power shot and an experienced tough guy like floyd would rather soak up the bodyshots and man up through the pain than risk getting dropped with a clean headshot.

he couldnt shut chino down, he had to give him something and he decided to give him the bodyshots feeling that his own far more accurate body work would be more effective down the stretch. he was right too, chino wasnt able to break floyd down and got his ass handed to him in the later rounds despite his early body assault.

nobody likes it to the body, trust me. but floyd soaks up body punches just about as well as anyone in the game. never seen him visibly hurt from a bodyshot or even slow down too much late in the fight. floyd absorbs bodyshots like hes made of steel.
