What a surprise, Roach predicting a knock out for one of his fighters...

Martinez is going to smash him to bits.

Roach is an aggressive trainer, sometimes too agressive, some of his fighters have lost on KO's to good counter fighter (Garcia, Marquez,) and although Cotto is more skilled than Martinez, Martinez is fast and a good counter.

Why would you give out a lot of credit for beating a gimpy dude? If a guy is broke you have to call a spade a spade, but will only play out on fight night.
Murray got a buncha credit while Martinez was evidently not himself.

Sergio will get dropped at least once during this fight. Cotto's small size is not why I'm worried about, he's ****** big fighters before. What concerns me is Sergio's insane reach advantage.

Cotto will be popping off jabs with Sergio's hands down but he has to, as one of the posters said, go through a minefield.

Second, invest to the body early here and there. If not, Sergio will use that reservoir he has and leave Miguel in the dust in the last fourth of the fight.

There are some concerns that Sergio will have coming in, but even with his age, inactivity, and knee problems, he should no doubt be the favorite.

I'd be surprised if Cotto wins this match. Rooting for Cotto as always, but I'm expecting scorecards to be 115-112, 115-112, 114-113...with Sergio getting dropped once at some point with a flash knockdown.
