Perhaps but I think Floyd's only getting slower at this point.

Never know, Maidana's dangerous, this whole thing reminds me alot of Tarver-Jones.

Don't think it will happen that way but it's dangerous.

I wouldn't go that far, Jones had to dig deep to win that fight. Mayweather was very sharp defensively, other than a couple of right hands that got through and some body work...Maidana's offense wasn't clicking at all. Most definitely not nearly as well as I thought watching it live.

True but to me Floyd looked bad, as bad as I've seen him.

Not as drastic as Jones but still bad.

I think Floyd's resistance is still high though. Don't see Maidana taking him out with one punch but he has the power.

The funny thing is, I only counted 5 clean punches by Maidana, rest were rabbit punches or low blows. So sad that you can't even make a good Maidana highlight video because of how **** he really did in the fight.

I don't think Maidana can fight or do much better, and while Floyd is aged and will be even older next time there are other things he can do which can make the fight easier at least in spots.

I also don't think Maidana will be able to get away with the same rough and tumble stuff next time, and if he is not allowed to do similar stuff he will have a much harder time hemming Floyd in and getting him to the ropes whenever he wanted.

Maidana was very strong mentally that night, but the results of that fight seem to have affected him a bit so IF Floyd comes in and mitigates some of Maidana's plan which will be roughly the same it could lead to frustration which didn't happen last time and would hamper Maidana badly. That is also one of the main differences to most Floyd fights he was never able to totally frustrate Maidana, but next time who knows.

Not worried man, again I watched the fight so many times now and Maidana wasn't landing much at all, I give him credit in neutralizing Mayweather's offense, landing the jab, blinding him with the jab, using it as a bait whilst in the center of the ring (Mayweather didn't take the bait) and smothering some of Mayweather's work on the ropes. Offensively I don't see the danger, if you watch it again you'll see that he started arm punching as he started losing confidence in his own accuracy.

Watched it 5 or 6 times now.

Definitely looked sharper than I thought when watching live but it's still the worst I've seen him.
