I think people are forgetting that it was 1983 that the rule of same day weigh ins was abolished so fighters such as Henry Armstrong and the four horsemen were pretty much fighting opponents on even size terms.
Fighters now have completely abused the ability to rehydrate and instead use it as a means to handicap their opponents. Instead of getting fair boxing fights you get wrestling matches similar to Saturday night and that ain't right.
This is completely the reason why Mayweather and Pacquiao should be commended for giving so much away in weight, and the former especially who has fought the majority of his career being the smaller fighter.
Imagine how much KOS and easy it would be for Mayweather to dispatch of his opponents if same day weigh ins were still existent.
DAMN!! Excellent video. I'm going to use this one for a LONG WHILE!
Thanks for sharing. Everybody knows Maidana won that night!! And with sparring gloves.
In all fairness Mayweather landed by far the better and more accurate head shots and both landed significant body shots. In my opinion Mayweather's head shots were seen with much more clarity than Maidanas head shots.
Share to show everyone that Marcos Maidana was beating the **** out of Floyd Mayweather throughout the entire fight, dedicating Floyd the 10th, 11th and 12th rounds to show you just how inaccurate he actually was. What you see in this video is consistent throughout the entire fight, rendering Floyd's apparent 54% connect percentage as complete bull****, as well as the gift decision he did not actually win. Aside from that this is really just a montage for everyone to enjoy.
Right. Instead of believing the biased Mayweather fans, people should believe the biased hater, sean1997. ****** &^%$#@

You are right. If you count the knees, the elbows, the punches behind the head and the low blows, Maidana landed at least 40 more blows than Mayweather.
i change my score to 120-108 MAIDANA. i think guerrero got robbed too. he easily won that fight. maidana should just fight guerrero instead since they both dominated and conquered mayweather.
Not really just different rules a bigger man is a bigger man, guys who move up in class get more credit because they are challenging them self against physically superior competition.
Anyone who can mitigate size advantages deserves a lot of praise, or do you think the phrase "good big man beats good little man" came from no where
again you are taking a general view and applying it to a specific situation.
two fighters that have to weigh in at 147, one hydrates 15 pounds...not the same as a welterweight moving up to 160. its just not and never will be.
They said DLH exposed him, Castillo exposed him, Cotto exposed him, and now it's Marcos Maidana exposing him. Same ****, different day, but to no avail.
