I love your sig man, epic.

On a side note, would be a great fight. We need to see how GGG would do against top opposition.

I'm a big Canelo fan, but I wouldn't bet on it. Canelo is a bit like Broner in that being able to discourage his opponent with his power is a huge part of his style. And as he moves up in weight, his power will become less and less of a factor. He will have to make adjustments to be successful at the higher weights.

I think it was Dougie Fischer who wrote about it. And from what I remember, I don't think GGG humiliated him, he just got the better out it. From the sparring videos I have seen of GGG, he doesn't even seem to go flat out - he seems to be working on stuff more than trying to wreck people, so these stories of GGG being a monster in the gym are probably hyperbole.

Incidentally, reason OP is hyping up Canelo is same reason Calzaghe fans used to cling to Kessler - because the better Canelo does in his career, the more it elevates Floyd's win/resume. FWIW, I do actually think there's a good chance Saul becomes Floyd's best win in time - but it's just funny seeing notorious Flowmos nutbugging Canelo. Wouldn't touch the dude with a bargepole if he hadn't fought and lost to Floyd.

His height is a problem too. He is barely taller than Floyd. 154 is the perfect division for him, but it seems his body type won't be able to let him stay there much longer.

He can do it all box punch move and he's only getting better. I think at 160 he'll be just good enough to out box GGG, Martinez and Cotto. I personally believe GGG couldn't out box Canelo and I don't see GGG stopping Canelo either. You heard it hear first. The official Canelo hype train is boarding if you wanna get on before it's too late.
He will come in at 160 for the Lara fight and will still get his a.ss whipped. He and GGG can fight the battle for the title of "most overhyped fighter."

Dreadful stamina on Canelo, don't think he would stand a chance against GGG, Martinez. Might be Quillin as I don't rate him. Would get stomped by Martinez and GGG.

                  Canelo v:

Martinez (c): Ud or tko10 loss
                  1. Golovkin: Ko5 loss
                  2. Felix sturm: Ud loss
                  3. Geale: Ud loss
                  4. Quillin: Tko8 or md loss or md win
                  5. Murray: Md win/loss
                  6. Macklin: Tko8 loss or md win/loss
                  7. Rubio: Md/sd win
                  8. Andy lee: Tko8 or ud loss
                  9. Hassan n'dam: Ud/md loss
                  10. Stevens: Ko5 loss or ud win

so against these 11 guys, i think at best he could go 5-6 (0 ko's, 1 koby) and at worst he could go 1-10 (0 ko's, 6 koby).

I don't think he has the power to knock any of these guys out, he's have to box to win; he'll have even less power at middleweight where he won't dwarf he's opponents and where he'll be fighting bigger guys. His height and reach will also be a liability.
lmfao he loses to quillin ? And gets ko'd by stevens? Jahahahahahahaa wow idiot

I think Canelo at 160 goes life and death with Quillin and gets Good Boy'd by 3G.

He better go through guys like Tureano Johnson and Stevens before he tries to step to Golovkin
