No amazing boxer like Lara should be running and dropped twice by Angulo if they are that good.

    Or losing to Molina

Lara is the most overrated fighter on here, can't wait until he gets destroyed.
Canelo is going to beat Lara via robbery. Mark it

I have Lara by UD, that's not the point of this thread though.

You have to look at the bigger picture and compare Canelo's career once it's done because every fighter takes a different path. Canelo might have a nice career but it's ridiculous to think he'll be ranked anywhere near JCC Sr when it's all said and done.

This is like me saying that Rigo has already had a tougher schedule than Mayweather, Pacquiao, JMM, Hopkins, and Toney if you compare all of their first 12 fights. While it's true, there were certain circumstances and factors that played a part here. How about Lomachenko? he's had a tougher first two fights than most ATG fighters.... Rather a futile argument I'd say.

The only difference is Rigo came from enormous hype, and at this point Chavez was already revered here as well.

Yet Canelo gets crapped on? Chavez vs Ramirez 1 was actually APPLAUDED. Im just too old for today I guess.

At their respective age Canelo has taken on bigger risk than Chavez. He's still not close to being the fighter Chavez was and has a long road ahead of him if he wants to even come close. Canelo has a lot more leverage on who he's fighting though something Chavez didn't have early on.

The reason Canelo gets crapped on is simply because social media makes more accessible something that wasn't around in Chavez's time. I **** you not a lot of people in Mexico, through social media, are saying he's fighting another nobody in Lara and he should fight real fighters

He should have drawed with Trout, Im sorry if you get peppered with jabs all night long and land maybe 3-4 big punches a round how can you expect to win.

30 jabs per round - Austin Trout
6 hard punches per round - Canelo

Not sure how that wins you a fight, but regardless, Lara's getting robbed.

Peppered with Jabs? Flicking out grazing jabs while you're getting hit with combinations isn't going to win rounds, not when you get put on your azz late either
Canelo hit Trout with combos? I mustve been drunk.

If I remember correctly, Canelo was throwing single punches that fight. Trout probably threw more combos than that mofoka.

Speaks of an imaginary rehydration clause that Lara's team has showed no proof of in the contract, and downplays Lara's struggle with Molina. Oh, but he got robbed against Paul Williams coming off of a brutal knockout!
