I think he was referring to Garcia with that comment, If you watched the post fight Mayweather went out of his way to hype Garcia up, Ward was Mentioned after a reporter brought up his name.

It caught me off guard with those comments since both fighters are suing their respective promoters. Could be a coincidence but I dont think so.

Pure speculation on my part but it seems if everything goes right Mayweather/Haymon/Shaeffer are tryi g to build a UFC model for boxing where most of the legitimate big draws will fight under 1 banner, It's still going to take years for it to come to Fruition but this is what I think they're trying to do.

that would be the worst decision they ever made.

you see how greedy floyd is with the purses. him getting 30million+ while maidana got only 1million.

mikey would be making far less if he joined TMT.

'under my banner' and 'we would be smoking'

bad choice of words considering his fighters just got caught hot boxing the gym

Ward still doesn't have a "good adviser" -- I could bet he's going to sign soon with the only adviser in the U.S.

Andre Wards manager J Prince is Floyd's old manager from early on in his career. I wonder how that would play out?? I believe Ward should be much bigger than what he is, especially being a Gold Medalist. I'm surprised he isn't more of a household name thus far in his career.

That maybe true, but Goosen didn't violate Ward's contract that is why he keeps losing on his lawsuits. Ward can't opt out of a contract that he signed to unless Goosen violated the contract.

That's pretty ****ty promoting for a P4P fighter.
Didn't Ward make like 1-2 mil to fight Rodriguez? That ain't bad

I don't blame him for wanting to leave though
I think he's gone as far as he can with Goosen

I was thinking that too. Seems like that could present some problems

He really should be bigger. If I were him I'd go to GBP at this point. Then again I'm sure he wants to but can't
