God damnt I dont understand Bob at all. Chavez is leaving Top Rank that much is clear. They might as well cash him out on a big PPV fight with GGG. They are acting like they wont make money on this fight which is BS, this fight will do atleast as much as Chavez-Martinez on PPV.

Now's as good a time as any for HBO to show some common sense and allow Golden Boy back on the network. They should press for Golovkin-Quillin. Both are fighting low level opponents and both are without a next opponent. If HBO publicly announces it is willing to do the fight, it puts the pressure on Quillin to agree to the fight. Seriously, how ****** would HBO have to be to turn down Quillin for Golovkin because he's with Golden Boy?

It wasn't GBP that left HBO it was the other way around. There are alot of fences that need to be mended to get the fights we want.

I agree. Golovkin would almost for sure beat Chavez. Arum should be happy to milk a nice ppv out of him then send him to his rivals coming off a loss.

golden boy black balled themselves from HBO. they went all showtime even before HBO gave them the boot. Only GBP guys that were still fighting on HBO were Broner and Hopkins due to contracts. GBP takes all their business to Showtime, what do people expect HBO to do?

I don't like Arum either but in this case its basic contract business... There's no incentive for them to pay him big money and spend big money promoting a one-time appearance knowing he's jumping ship to the rival business the fight after that. Nobody would agree to that, Arum or otherwise. They'd have to lowball him to justify even bothering.

Never wanted this fight for Golovkin anyway. He's not a 168lb fighter imo and if he became PPV he'd fight much less.

I'd like to see Geale or Quillin next.
