My own opinion:
The best way to handle this would just to let the hands speak if mexicans are really offended, they should just find the most talented 140 pounds mexican and let him box Broner.

In general i dont like all the blackballing/suspending etc. type of tactics, its kinda childish. By now he probably allready learned his lesson. I also feel sorry for him if his right, freedom of speech has become less. I guess right now he wont be able to use the CANman jokes again...

He was kinda original with the CANman character/persona, he doesnt discriminate everyone CAN get it. Even Thurman uses it sometimes but in a more politically correct way.

So you missed the fact that Broner demeans Mexicans outside of his little scthick? I used 3 other examples, 2 that were used in interviews, and 1 outside an interview where there was no scthick involved.

What I am saying in addition to doing these things, after each fight he has done this schtick. when he does it, he targets all nationalities, not just one. So if you want to use his past against him, which is fair, use ALL of it.

And no one is ****** to the point of not seeing how he was trying to cloak his subsequent statement about "beat the f.uck out of a Mexican" with the proceeding statement about "CAN's". Broner is a POS and I dislike him but to be honest what he said happened in US soil, it is his right to free speech. I understand if it were towards blacks, they'd riot and want you to sell your property but this suspension is pretty unfair.

yes, he has made derogatory statements in the past. we agree. but he didn't saturday night, that is something we should also agee on.

If showtime suspended him for cursing on the air then that would be holding him accountable.
