Whats the difference between Brandon Rios and Marcos Maidana?

I'm a fan of Rios and it's easy to see the differences. Maidana has the far superior foot speed, consistently uses the jab and knows how to neutralize his opponents offense a lot better, be it by moving his head a bit or clinching. Also tricky in that, when he is getting clinched he makes sure to play along, so as to not give you enough room to work from close quarters, this neutralized Mayweather as he couldn't work the uppercuts up close, surly not with the kind of consistency we're used to seeing. Mayweather complained about the clinches too, although of course he initiated most of them.
Rios is the better inside fighter, in close he has the better technique but his lack of foot speed has already been exposed, so he can only compete with the aggressive type really.Comment

Maidana has a better jab, better footwork and much better defense, faster hands and more power.
Rios defense is to get hit, get rocked, and smile like an idiot. He has no jab, he got outboxed by Alvarado! A former wrestler.Comment

Maidana has heart, skills and punching power. Rios is basically all heart with a little skill thrown in.Comment
