You are sooo wrong. Maidana is just a C level fighter who just defeated Mayweather with an 8-4 score. Rios is an elite fighter but has the misfortune of fighting an eight division champion and ATG fighter and was outclassed in his last fight. You don't believe me? Just read the posts of pacfarts in BS

            Maidana does everything better.

He applies pressure better, better handspeed, better footspeed, better defense.

            Just overall better.

Maidana has better head movement and that means a lot. I was impressed with how well Maidana slipped the right hand of Mayweather all night. Sure he was hit a few times, but we are so used to seeing Mayweather tee off on opponents especially after he adjusts to them.

Maidana did a great job constantly moving and finishing with defense after his combo's.

Rios is a tough guy, but where has he really taken his boxing~ he has stagnated and has shown no signs of getting out of that quagmire.

Maidana is a tough guy who put solid work into his craft, which while not the most pretty boxing I have seen is pretty effective.

Are you kidding me? It's clear you don't know jack about this sport. The only thing they have similar is that they come forward (so what) and both have an inside game but the way they fight inside is very different. You can say both have a chin but like coming forward so what? There are so many ways to come forward and tons of fighters have chins so that's not good enough. At least pretend like you know something about boxing, geez.

The list in ways they are different is miles long.

Watch the small and subtle things these two fighters do. This is why people hate nsb, go to a boxing gym and start studying fights because if you don't know the difference between these two fighters than boxings not for you.
