Irrespective of who won this competitive bout, Mayweather showed serious decline and probably has been softened up by Maidana, even if you argue Maidana hardly landed, the rabbit punches, hip punches, low blows arm punches, all add to the wear and tear of a 37 year old man, who may struggle from here on with such rugged battles at his age..

Maidana arm barred, headbutt, tackled, rabbit punches, shots below the belt and tried to knee Floyd. That isn't boxing any day of the week. I realize people don't like Floyd but most of Maidana punches were to the arm. I'm not saying Maidana didn't have any effective body punching because he did but if you're comparing clean effective punching it was Floyd all day. Maidana should have been DQ.
