Should have just let him wear his gloves of choice, perhaps he would have been more civil in the ring. lol.

This was one of the most dirty fights Ive ever witnessed and I watch all the fights more then once, this guy was trying to maul Floyd, knee, hitting on the break, all those clubbing punches behind the head, Floyd is lucky none of those did not floor him, I was impressed with the fact that for the most part, he stayed composed...

Whats really ****ed up to me, Garcia said countless times on all access, Chino needs to fight dirty, so he had intent and from the last 2 fights, Floyd got 114-114 witch tells me someone is investing in im losing...

One thing I notice, Floyd dont react well to cuts, he was acting strange for 2 full rounds, seemed like he wanted to quit...

Also if you look at the pre fight mitt work, Floyd put zero force and turned south pah for a few, Paulie caught that and said he only recalls Floyd doing that wen he hurt his hand...

If i was Floyd I would never do business with anyone from Garcia's camp, from the shady gloves to all the dirty stuff, these people dont deserve ****, bunch of cheaters!!!

He didn't knee Floyd though, he made half the move. It looked like in the Broner fight with the headbutt except he did hit Broner with it.

Has anyone here not seen a Marcos Maidana fight before? He does most of this **** all the time. Weeks did the right thing by staying out of it and Mayweather used his fare share of elbows and excessive clinching. No need to blame Weeks, it was a fight.

I'm disappointed by the amount of agenda filled posts since last night's fight. Maidana came to give Mayweather a rough and dirty fight. It was his best strategy to attain a victory and make Floyd uncomfortable. However, it was over the top. People keep saying Maidana was retaliating to Floyd's dirty tactics (Floyd did use his elbows and clinched) but Maidana's dirty tactics began in round one. There was no retaliation. Maidana threw punches behind the head, a low blow and headbutt all in the first 3 minutes. When you throw in the kidney shots, hip shots, leg shots, tackle takedown, forearms, elbows, arm bar, and knee shot to go along with multiple headbutts and low blows, Maidana gave one of the dirtiest fights I've seen. The gameplan was to break the rules from the opening bell.

Mayweather did use elbows and did clinch. I'm not clearing him of wrong doing but he did get mugged out there though.

The same people complaining about Mayweather's clinching are saying Khan did excellent despite his excessive clinching and pulling down of the head (I thought khan fought very well).

The same people who said Danny Garcia was dirty for his low blows against Matthysse despite enduring some rabbit punches from Matthysse are now saying Chino was right to fight dirty because Mayweather is dirty. This is hypocrisy at its finest.

I thought Chino fought a great fight and had an excellent gameplan. He more than held his own in the ring but the foul play was far too excessive. A headbutt or two. Cool. A few low blows. Cool. Almost 10 different types of fouls is too much. I'm surprised he didn't receive any point deductions.

I posted this in another thread over the weekend. I would add that Weeks did warn Mayweather for the elbows/forearms since I keep seeing people say that he didn't. I guess no one saw Maidana use his left forearm to hold Floyd against the ropes and then bash him with the right hand. He did it many times.

Maidana should have been deducted a point early in the fight, but the referee let it turn into an ugly brawl. It has little to do with bias; anyone with objectives eyes should be able to see that points needed to be deducted.

I also don't understand why people are moaning about Mayweather tying Maidana up. That's exactly what I would do against an opponent who opened my eye with a head butt, punched me below the belt, and rabbit punched me. It wouldn't be enough to deal with his offence in a conventional manner, because he would cheat to cause damage. You'd either have to keep him at a distance, or tangle him up completely.

I said this soon after the fight, fuck Maidana. I'm not interested in seeing a rematch, because I do not believe in indulging blatant cheats.

i share your sentiment, why reward cheats?
