It would be a hell of a way to end his career. However, I can't see him winning that fight.

Hopkins can usually deal with punchers as long as they're quite slow and predictable like Pavlik.

He struggles with fast athletic guys. Stevenson is both and punches very hard. Although I think Stevenson is liable to fall apart mentally if he can't get his shots off early.

Would be an impressive win for Hopkins at this age.

Too bad he stopped short of being undisputed

Hopkins even at his advanced age should deal with someone Stevenson's calibur.

True what you're saying he struggles with athletic guys even if they aren't too good like Taylor and Dawson but I think someone with the defense (Or lack of) of Stevenson shouldn't be too hard to Hopkins to deal with.

Hollywood is fake, I don't get the comparison. Are you saying Hopkins has pulled the wool over people's eyes once again?

I actually prefer a Kovalev fight. Though Kovalev has huge power, he is very slow and predictable, which Hopkins happens to do best against. Stevenson has a little more speed than Kovalev and in my view does not have much less power than Kovalev.

If Bernard were to win another unification bout, be it Kovalev or Stevenson, his career will look with out a doubt a ATG/ Greatest of his Era... and without a doubt will be a Hollywood story but who will be able to play The Executioner/The Alien?

In fact I wouldn't mind seeing Idris Elba play Bernard, he is a tall dude and a great actor.

i'm not sure how much you've seen of kovalev if you think this. his hands are pretty fluid, and his footwork isn't bad. unlike a lot of guys who throw combinations, there aren't any throwaway punches in kovalev's offense. every shot in his four or five punch combinations can hurt you.

stevenson uses the ring a bit more effectively than kovalev, and is faster, but calling kovalev "very slow" is just flat out wrong.

Not to mention Stevenson is more flat-footed and fights at a slower, one punch at a time, pace.

Hollywood would make a film starring Eddie Murphy since he already has a gap in his teeth and is known to be a booty snatcher.

                      I keed, I keed!

                      Much love to the ATG!
