He doesn't look half. Might be a decent prospect if carefully and gradually matched up with tougher opponents, but obviously too soon for Rigo. Probably even too soon for a top 30 fighter.

Everybody's a turd until they get a chance to prove their self otherwise,Rigo is a bit chinny and has had put up some pedestrian performances again similarly modest challenges....so you never know this could be the upset of the year.

Fights like this are too common at the lower weights. You see Chocolito, Moreno, Narvaez, etc. constantly fighting overmatched opponents or prospects. I guess the top fighters are scattered across the world with smaller promotional companies making travel and negotiations much tougher.

Young Mr. Guzman's not the turd, it's the decision to put an utterly unproven fighter into a "title" fight with a P4per that is a turd. Guzman may eventually be a good fighter and of course anything can happen, but he's not being brought in to have any real chance of winning. He's being brought in to make Rigo look good beating an overmatched opponent.
