That would be relevant if it wasn't for the fact that very little training is done in thinly padded 8oz gloves. Guys have to lace up gloves like that when the fight draws near just to get used to it. It's pretty much the opposite of what you're trying to say.

The mental aspect is very subjective tho. It made little if no difference to Maidana on fight night imo. He's not the type of person it would affect and his performance proved that. There's not much he could have done better besides have more stamina. Notvssying he shouldn't have been allowed to wear the gloves. He absoluteky should have if the commission approved them. I'm saying it won't really matter much in the final outcome.

That's another thing being missed. The gloves Maidana wore were full contact boxing gloves. They werent sparring gloves, they werent training gloves. They were for actual boxing. No1 trains in 8oz gloves. Which is why my 8oz grants and lionsdales are almost completely unused. Maidana should have been allowed to wear his preferred gloves just like basketball players should be allowed to wear their preferred sneakers. But are u telling me Kobe stops being Kobe if he puts on some Jordan's or LeBrons as opposed to Kobes? Only boxing fans are ****** enough to believe that.

Did they reject 10 pairs of gloves right before the fight?

Fucc Maidana, his fans and his gloves. He lost the fight clearly and everyone wants to act like it was some kind of robbery. You guys kidding me?

Floyd doesnt need Maidana for anything he'll fight blindfolded if Floyd tells him to. I mean yall know that right?

You're assuming all 8oz gloves are the same. Obviously there are punchers gloves that are made for inflicting more damage. There are gloves designed to protect the hands more so than others. To say it makes absolutely zero difference is absurd.

and if it didn't matter, Floyd wouldn't have even brought it up
