You're really on thin ice here. An 8 oz. glove is an 8 oz. glove. There is NO extra padding - only the shape is different or/and the composition of the material used. You must be completely naive to think that the gloves alone would diminish Maidana's power. It doesn't work like that.

If Floyd made him fight with 10 oz. gloves I could understand Maidana's frustration but he didn't.

Speaking of gloves - where were you when Cotto made Floyd wear 10 oz gloves for their fight? I didn't hear you protesting to it.
