I didn't think Maidana had a chance. I was totally wrong.

That being said, now we know why Floyd won't fight Golovkin at 154. Golovkin throws lots of punches per round (he averaged 99 per round against Stevens). He is technically as gifted as you'll find. Plus he hits way harder than Maidana. Golovkin might kill Floyd in a fight.

His face says it all..despite the talk here from fanboys. You can't be serious and not give props to Maidana as a boxing fan. He came and did exactly what he said he was going to do and that was show no respect. In terms of dirty tactics, that works both ways. Any legitimate Mayweather fan knows Floyd loves to use his forearm and ain't nothing wrong with it, that's in ring experience.

The footage that you have of the fight in your post is the proof in the pudding. Those are Maidana's best moments and he landed very few of the shots he threw and the ones he landed were partially blocked or grazing shots. He threw five or six intentional rabbit punches in that clip alone. He was assisted by the complacency of the referee in making this a competitive fight. Weeks just watched as Maidana threw illegal shot after illegal shot and did nothing to keep the fight clean. Every ref is not going to let that happen. I would like to see a rematch just to see the difference in refereeing.

Yeah sure. Mayweather languished on the ropes more than he should have. I can give you that. But Maidana was allowed to get away with constantly throwing rabbit punches by the referee for the entire fight. Mayweather was as accurate and hard to hit as ever. Pacquiao was easier to hit by Bradley and was missing with a lot of his shots. There is no real comparison between the two performances.

Devon and khan blasted madaina . Madaina is an average fighter who beat up Floyd and controlled the fight. I wouldn't like to think what PAC would do to Floyd , probably kill him...
