The more i watch the fight, the more punches Maidana misses, 117- 111 is looking more accurate right now. Floyd washed him at his own game . Floyd is about to cash in on dumb fans and triple what he made on a pointless worthless rematch. Lol people actually think maidana won. I had it 115-113 on fight night, but now its wider maidana did NOT win.

Add in the glove element and I could actually see Maidana doing BETTER... not worse.

Both guys provided what was an exciting competitive fight. Don't know why Mayweather is saying Chino knows he lost, using the 12th round as proof (although I actually scored the 12th round for Maidana). If Floyd is saying Chino took his foot off the gas in the 12th - fighters do that when they think they've won.
I scored the fight 114-114. I felt like Chino won 4/5 of the first 5 rounds, and Mayweather performed better once he had time to feel Maidana out. I still gave Maidana one other mid/late round (can't remember which) and the 12th, making it 114-114 from my perspective.
I think a rematch is warranted.

Totally different? How so? You'll force Maidana to fight with his feet tied together? Health n Safety first. What a warning - like ***** trying to warn *****.

Floyd couldnt dance around because Maidana wouldnt let him. A rematch goes much the same. But.. time is on Maidana's side. He comes to a rematch in even better shape coming out of a longer training camp and 2 1/2 total camps with Ariza. Meanwhile Floyd trained as well as he can for Maidana.. I dont see Floyd coming to a rematch in any better condition... but I can definitely see Maidana doing that.

Floyd always says he "chose" to fight that way when he's in a tough fight. Maidana imposed his will on Floyd and forced him to fight that way. Floyd clearly won, but he didn't opt to stand in the pocket.
As for a rematch, I don't think it would be much different. Maidana might be a lil more confident and Floyd will be a lil older. That fight Sat had Jones-Tarver I feel to me. P4P King for the first time showing that his best days are clearly behind him. And that his reign on top is gonna end sooner rather than later. Is Maidana the man to end the reign? Not sure. If he wants to do a rematch with Chino, fine. I don't see the point. But I thought Floyd clearly won. If Floyd wants to erase all doubt, fair enough. But after that, he needs to come down off his high horse and get the Pacquiao fight done. With him showing vulnerability the other night, the Pacquiao fight is once again intriguing. Plus, stylistically Manny will be a lil easier for Floyd to deal with than a couple young lions like Porter and Thurman. I would actually pick Porter to beat a Floyd. Gotta see Thurman in with some better fighters before making a judgement on him.
