Canelo had the wrong game plan for Floyd. If you try to box Floyd, he'll out box you, out class you. But if you pressure Floyd, it's a completely different picture & that's what happened this past Saturday.

According to Floyd "he" made this fight more interesting by letting Maidana pound on him. That's how "he" made it a fan friendly fight, right?

So in case Floyd is gonna be the boring old boxer that he is & the rematch is gonna be completely different, then why the fcuk would the fans watch the rematch?

Floyd seriously needs to think before speaking out. Give Maidana credit he brought it & fought really well. The rematch is gonna be similar with Maidana putting a lot of pressure & Floyd fighting on the back foot all the time. It's gonna be close once again IMO.

In the pre fight conference, Floyd clearly stated this fight will not be like Canelo or Guerrero, that it will be more exciting.

I can see a rematch happening, and I can see Floyd holding the center of the ring a lot more, he did that especially in the last 6 rounds and that's where he had most of his success.

I watched the fight again a second time and still had Mayweather winning the fight, I thought Maidana did much better than expected and gained a lot of peoples respect and made a competitive fight, but Mayweather still won the majority of rounds IMO.

There was something wrong with Mayweather that night though, he just didn't look the same, when I first watched it I was thinking he just didn't want it, I thought he just wanted his payday and go home. Maybe I'm wrong though, maybe hes aging, or the fact that Maidana had no respect for him and was willing to be in his face all night through him off.

I don't really care for a rematch that much to be honest, but it looks like that's what the fans will demand next.

They just don't want to give this man no props. I think it was more impressive for Floyd to fight the bigger stronger man through all the fouls. People just want to see Mayweather lose. The fight seemed close because Maidana got off on Floyd so that means Maidana won..... funny.

Im thinking it's a couple of things. First I think that these back to back fights are taking a toll on him. Second I think the rough house tactics of Maidana was a lot for him to adjust to like he normally does. Third this Ms Jackson thing messed with his head a lil. Maidana made it into a street fight/brawl. I'm not counting him out yet but age could be a factor at this stage.

See, I don't want to hear about this Miss Jackson crap. The clown should have thought about this stuff before he filled her up with his DNA. They aren't married. He's not married to his kids mother either. Dude needs to get credible. He's acting the part of some Brutha from the hood continually making like decisions like that. You have too much on the line to jeopardize. So if drama from her messed with his head then so what. Floyd is quickly on his way out. Physically he can't hold up. Had Cotto and Mosley been 10 years younger they would have finished Floyd off in each of their fights. Had Victor Ortiz not got ******, his fight would have looked like Maidana's. This is another reason Floyd won't fight Pacquaio. Because manny throws a lot of punches, and has a motor that will run all night.

It will happen. And like the first fight. Floyd jr will win. He alone is why it was that kind of fight. Not maidana. But in the rematch. He will absolutely pick maidana apart. Easy work. There's no blueprint
