He came in as a 12-1 underdog with losses to Khan and Alexander to absolutely expose Mayweather.

Maidana isn't a naturally dirty fighter, he reacts to holding like he did against Broner. Floyd was holding because he couldn't handle him up close so Maidana took matters into his own hands.

You have to give him respect, he wasn't going to let FMJ's illegal tactics dictate the bout.

Stop bull****ting, man. Let's call a spade a spade. Floyd does use dirty tactics when he's being rough up on the ropes. A lot of time when Floyd use his forearm is to create space for countering when his opponents push up all their weights on him against the ropes. I'm not sure if Maidana intentionally fights dirty, but his style make it look that way because he focus on bullying his opponents and throws awkwardly without focusing on where he wants to land his punches, he just throws hammer shots and doesn't care about where he lands his punches.

Maidana put on a great show, but let lost that fight. When Floyd threw he was accurate. That is thing, Floyd doesn't throw enough. Maidana was wild but always pressing the action.
I don't think I would want a rematch. I rather watch Floyd fight Khan and Broker rematch Maidana. By the way, Floyd is not TBE! Maybe TBE cherry picking slow, methodical Latin fighters.
