The nice thing is that there seems to be fairly unanimous sentiment about the fact that this was complete bull*****.
you didn't think it would have made a difference but Mayweather did and have you ever box with different style gloves then you would have know it does matter first hand

And talk about fvking excuses. Here's Floyd's explaining the gloves:

"No wonder you knocking people out"
        "I got a family"
        "I don't want to be a vegetable"
"These ain't got no fvking padding" (didn't even address the red ones)
        "It's to protect BOTH fighters"

And there is video to back this up.

Anyone able to defend all this? Thought not.
The funniest thing about the glove scandal is that Mayweather still claims after the fight he fought that type of fight for the fans entertainment after all the bs health issues he talked about the gloves.

The gloves were ok before they fought, so how are they not ok after the fight?

Why didn't Chino wear the red MX that were approved by the commission? Why wouldn't b1tchass Floyd want him to wear the APPROVED gloves?

Maidana should not have changed gloves no matter what threats, blackmail and bribes they threw at him. But this is ****ing disgusting I've got to say, an absolute ***** move, to dissuade him in such a manner from wearing legal punchers gloves, disgraceful.

While I think Floyd blew the issue up too far, the saddest thing is the ignorance among boxing fans here. They're both 8oz gloves. If the padding in the other pair was redistributed THAT poorly that it make a night and day difference, then something was up with the other gloves.

You clearly don't know anything about pro gloves.

So you completely ignore the fact that Chino, you know the guy that actually fought in the gloves, said they had too much padding for his taste right?

I'll bet anything that there was NOTHING wrong with those red MX's, nothing. Floyd is just a b1tch.
