Its funny because I looked up the gloves and someone reviewed them a few months ago and said these gloves are great to protect your hands especially when hitting the heavy bag, but it makes it hard to clinch the gloves or make a fist.

He called them heavy bag gloves because they have a lot of padding.

Gloves do make a difference, just watch Pac vs Morales 1, they gave Pacman those huge ass winning foam gloves, in the rematches Pacamn got his horse hairs and wrecked morales.

This move -- forcing Maidana to fight with the Protech "training" gloves -- was a very low one...
... I like Floyd's "slick" style etc...

No, maybe Maidana needs the money more than Floyd, he could have been more brave and refuse to change his gloves, but I have no doubts that Floyd is the one to blame.
