I guess that either you didnīt watch the interview or you just donīt understand spanish. He was forced to use gloves with way more padding that his usual gloves. He can barely put his hands into them.

And why didnīt he use the Everlast MX approved by the commision? Those were legal and still Floyd banned them, itīs shameful.

Because in Floyd's fights, he is the commission. He is the promoter, the commission, the sanctioning body, sometimes the referee. Money talks.

And peope say you're "supporting the sport" by buying his PPVs instead of watching a stream... Huh??? If this guy lost every penny it would be great for the sport.

I was so sad when i first saw Chino coming to the ring with those pilows...
it felt like he was already down in the scorecards.

He called them heavy bag gloves because they have a lot of padding.

Gloves do make a difference, just watch Pac vs Morales 1, they gave Pacman those huge ass winning foam gloves, in the rematches Pacamn got his horse hairs and wrecked morales.
Did the same to Danny and in the rematch, Swift used Reyes gloves and morales got world star'd

And you are OK with that? He has to be a giant coward for not fighting Maidana with his usual, legal, puncher gloves. C'mon Chino is not even a TOP 5 welterweight. No wonder that he is scared as hell of Manny.

"It appears that the Maidana camp offered to compromise by wearing a pair of Cleto Reyes gloves, but Mayweather's camp objected to those as well. Team Mayweather is attempting to force Maidana to use Grant gloves, the same that Mayweather uses."

"The issue here is that Mayweather's camp literally has no leg to stand on here. The NSAC approved the stock Everlast MX gloves, that means Maidana can wear them. That's really the end of the discussion as far as the Maidana Camp responsibility extends. They have gloves they want to use, the commission has approved them.

The Mayweather camp is stating that they will not fight if they don't get their way. In the video above, Mayweather's manager, Leonard Ellerbe, is asked about the approved red gloves and what the status is and states, "The story is that we're not...there's a dispute. We're not fighting in gloves that doesn't have any padding in them."

He is then pushed again, asked if the commission approved the red gloves, and Ellerbe states, "the commission didn't approve the blue gloves that he tried on"."

Floyd Mayweather’s camp has stated that they consider the fight with Marcos Maidana off, unless the Maidana camp agrees to not wear commission-approved Everlast gloves.

So in the end Floyd simply paid Maidana to wear "Everlasts", but Everlast's "maximum hand protection" model. This way it looks to the audience like there was an agreement when in reality Floyd effectively decides everything and runs his fights from backstage.

Floyd has also negotiated Cleto Reyes gloves out of fights in the past.

Don't you mean Maidana is a coward for not standing up for his rights.

No, I would never pay for any PPV Floyd is on. Has the feel of a WWE event with Floyd as Vince McMahon.
