    "Throwing"

    "Carrying the Pace"

    "Making/Forcing the fight"

    "Pressing the action"

The 4 new scoring criteria according to NSB

Rematch results in a more convincing Floyd win. Floyd had him pegged by round 6. A rematch would exploit that. I would watch it though

I prefer Floyd's typical boxing lessons because thats the type of boxing I prefer.

Then there's the possibility that Mayweather did infact fight with more reckless abandonment to set up a rematch because there is really nobody else to fight in September.
Yeah i agree. I like Maidana, he is my favourite fighter at 147 but i feel he did the best he could and it was suprisingly good but not enough.

They could fight again in september or they could fight again in a year and floyd might be a little older and maidana might win but i rather see some new matchups.

What about Maidana vs Garcia and Floyd vs Porter then the winners fight each other. Or Floyd vs Golovkin at 154 as both are running out of options...

Porters offense looks like it could seriously trouble Floyd. I'm all for that ****.

Sadly it appears Khan is next-up.
Hasn't it already been established that Khan can't make the Sept. date?

When up against Floyd, being pretty active alone will win you rounds. Happened with Cotto and Ortiz too. Some folks were giving Round 4 to Ortiz because of his activity right before the headbutt. Even though most of the shots were missing...

But Maidana did well though, his aggression was key.

They were seeing Mayweather show signs of slowing, not to mention getting a lil roughed up by an opponent who showed him 0 respect in there..So it lead people to overstate the effectiveness of Maidana..It was not a bad fight, but it was not what people are making it out to be either..

I'm on the fence about it. I think a rematch would shut up some of the naysayers if Floyd win's convincingly. Floyd is in a tough spot. If he doesn't rematch him, they'll say he's scared. If he does, they'll say, "who wants to see that again?". But I think the rematch will happen more due to there not being a real opponent for Floyd in September.

I would be fine with a rematch in September. Thurman and Porter can fight each other this summer. Winner gets Khan in the fall. Winner of that fight gets Floyd next May. That should tie up things nicely and give Floyd an opponent everyone is dying to see him fight. Right now I think Thurman, Porter, and Khan have to do a little bit more before those fights becoming intriguing. Fighting each other would definitely do it!

I didn't think Mayweather looked as good as usual. His timing was off. He still landed plenty of lead rights, left hooks and his body work was good in the later rounds.

I don't see what Maidana did that was so impressive. He mauled and smothered Mayweather a lot meaning Floyd couldn't get off as much as he wanted to but he did very little actual clean work of his own.
