I seriously doubt Floyd would take a rematch with Maidana. He barely got past him this time and at 37 years of age does he really want to be getting into these types of wars? Floyd has always been safety first!

So when he makes a rematch with Maidana are you going to say its a cherry pick and call him a coward ?

I am just speculating so name calling is not necessary but we all have witness Floyd put on more better performances against better pressure fighters than Maidana. But hey! Anything is possible in boxing and a fighter with determination is a dangerous man.

The thing is the other pressure fighters did come in with their head and forearms. Chino fought the best fight he could, fact is Floyd adjusted and a didn't and can't. A rematch would be similar to the Castillo rematch. His reckless aggression was negated and the unpredictability factor is gone for Chino.

I had the first 6 rounds 3-3 and the last 6 rounds 5-1 in favor of Mayweather. You can say 4-2 for Maidana in the first 6 but that's about it. If you watch the with no commentary it will give you more objectivity in my opinion.

Then there is no point in having a rematch because Maidana will not get a fair shake.


2 judges had Floyd winning 4-2 after the first 6 rounds. So that meant that even if Maidana continued with that pace for the full fight, Maidana loses 8-4 ..... no way!

Exactly. At this point is impossible for Floyd to please these "fans". Tonight he stayed true to his word and didn't move as much and people are still giving him ****. If he had boxed and dominated he would of been ****ted on too.

A rematch is NOT needed.

Maidana can not expect to win a decision with bum rushing volume punches that do not even land while all the while Floyd is countering cleanly.

And Floyd knows he can do the same thing all over again with Maidana, but why now does he say he will fight someone if the fans want to see it, when he knows all the fans ever wanted was to see him fight Pac-Man.
