Where does the HATRED for the Klitschkos on this forum stem from?

Wlad is a modern day Larry Holmes and you can take that how ever you want to.

Larry had to follow the great Muhammad Ali in the early 80's and was overshadowed by Mike Tyson in the late 80's. The same thing will happen to Wlad. He will never live up to Lennox Lewis, and will ultimately be outdone by the next great Heavyweight.

I dunno but theorize that its because of the Cold War mentality that is still around in the international background / history.

despite both guys fighting out of germany (and not even born in russia??? i remember wlad is a kazahkstani and vitaly is urkranian), some americans link both klits to the soviets and are still su****ious of russia and therefore they get patriotic.

wlad and vitaly are perhaps victims of circumstances... maybe in a different era where there is not this tension between the USA and Russia, they may have been accepted as the people's champ.

Absolutely. There are certain fighters I think are boring, so I tend not to talk about them much. I certainly wouldn't make threads dissing them. ******ed.

I can't seem to place it. No matter what either Klitschko has accomplished in the ring, there has always been a disproportional amount of contempt for them on this forum and others on the internet. This has been going on for years. I'm not trying to start a flame war, but I think both brothers are great for boxing and are exactly what the sport needs (clean cut, intelligent gentleman who behave themselves out of the ring and always show up to fight in good physical condition and usually produce knockouts)to progress into the mainstream. In what ways does my perception of them differ from yours? I'm curious to hear from all the Klitschko haters on the forum.

Isn't doesn't help that they are good looking hot guys. Many insecure
guys, hate them for that reason. I am sure if they looked like Vauluev
or Ricky Hatton, they wouldn't get half as much hate.
