If Haye defeats Wlad, it will be given a lot of attention by the media. For the first time in years, boxing will be on the front page of the sports section!!!

The ******** who control the media want a black heavyweight champion. When they have one, they'll immediately start giving a lot of positive attention to the division! Then, all the sheeple including some posters here at boxingscene, will start to once again become very positive about the heavyweights. The sportswriters and commentators will write and talk about how exciting Haye is - and the kids will believe it and become Haye fans...

If Wladimir wins again, though, as usual there will be virtually no coverage of the fight in the newspapers. Kellerman will make some negative comments to discredit Wlad's win after the fight, as will Teddy Atlas the following Friday on ESPN. On the internet, there will be the usual negative comments from the American sportswriters like Yahoo's Iole, and The Ring's Dettloff, Raskin, Goldman and/or Rosenthal. And there will be the usual anti-Klitschko hate threads in NSB.

Wlad is the worst #1 ranked Heavyweight in the history of the sport.

If Haye beats Wlad, which I think is a long shot, it will be the same as when Jack Dempsey Ko'd Jesse WIllard. The exciting charismatic guy will have beaten the robotic bore fest who no one likes. Take your racial goggles off for one second and see this situation for what it is.

He's one of the BEST heavyweight champions in the history of the sport, but I know why you hate him.

He an intelligent, handsome man, a nice guy who raises money to build schools in Africa, a good sportsman who never discredits his opponents, an very skillful technical boxer who's always in excellent shape, and he scores exciting, brutal KOs in 90% of his fights.

He should be regarded as a great champion.

Its fine if you think Wlad is boring, but this comment is ridiculous.

Technically, Wlad is a tremendous heavyweight. It is tough to think of many past heavies who have a better array of technically correct punches in their arsenal than Wladimir.

Wladimir is a B level fighter in a C level Division.
Not really a big fan of him, beaten by not-so-great fighters.

Come on now, John Ruiz is the worst HW.

so basically what you are saying is that all those white people want a black champion.

how about, all those ppl want a REAL champion. not a boring piece of crap like wlad.

wlad is the #1 ranked hw in the world. and as that, he is the official representative of the division and all of boxing which is all the more sad because as Froch said: "Wlad is scared of his own shadow". Its quite pathetic that a chicken **** represents the biggest division in boxing.

Just a question: What is he doing wrong?

                Is he ducking opponents?

                Is he winning robberies?

                Is he not active enough?

This is all TRUE. Which is why I find it strange why some of his fans are so vile and disrespectful. If Klitschko fans behaved more like their hero Wlad and less like Haye, I dont think thered be such a backlash.

Its fine if you think Wlad is boring, but this comment is ridiculous.
I stand by comment. Wlad has not had one meaningful fight in his entire career. If the top heavyweight can not generate a single match on ppv then boxing has a serious problem.

The last Heavyweight to drag down the sport in such a dramatic fashion was Larry Holmes. Larry Holmes was skilled just like Wlad plus he was American. But the guy was an absolute bore fest. A sorry heavyweight is a sorry heavyweight regardless of what country they are from.

I see on your sig, Floyd Mayweather is your favorite fighter.

Do the comments you just made apply more to Floyd than to Wlad? I don't see Wlad ducking heavyweights, nor forcing the best light heavyweight Hopkins to move up to fight him.

And when it comes to boring fights, Mayweather has had many, while Wlad has just had the one with Ibragimov.

Wlad said he doesn't want PPVs. Half the TVs in Germany and millions around the world tune into his fights. He has the level of popularity in Europe that someone like Holyfield had in the US. He makes LOTS of money without PPVs and keeps the best interests of his fans in mind.

Mayweather is the biggest name in the sport, and it shouldnt be that way.

Mike Tyson understood that boxing prospers when it is lead by the top Heavyweight. He saw that Marvin Hagler and Ray Leonard were overshadowing Larry Holmes and he was not happy about it. People want an exciting, charismatic Heavyweight! If you cant be good like Joe Louis at least try to be interesting like Tyson.

Wladamir is way to effeminate to be heavyweight champ of the world. He was KD'd by by an undisciplined sam peter, K'od by Sanders and Puritty and never bothered to rematch those guys. Instead he called his older brother to take on the challenges he was to weak to handle.
