he isn't fighting the way he use to. he actually use to be an exciting fighter to watch once upon a time but now he is boring as ****. he has amazing power in both hands and good speed and agility for a guy his size but he doesn't use it to its fullest potential. It actually makes me angry when I watch him fight especially the Sultan and Thompson fights. WTF is he punching and hugging? why??? he doesn't need to do that. He needs to leave Steward and get a real trainer. Steward is garbage and thus he has made wlad garbage.

and is he ducking opponents, not necassarily but he didn't rematch Peter(he would have won again but still) to become the true HW champ for a couple of years.

and he also has 2 rematch clauses with haye ONLY if he loses. also he is basically getting like 99% of the revenue from the fight which is totally unfair. he's getting all of the german tv revenue, almost all of the american tv revenue, and even some of the british tv revenue. If that isn't called trying your best to price yourself out of a fight, then I don't know what is.

and also, I wouldn't be making even half as many posts against wlad if it weren't for tunney. tunney's ridiculous posts need to balanced out with sensible posts. seriously, tunney is a pointless poster who isn't even a boxing fan.

The Thompson and Ibragimov fights were not great, I will give you that. But you also have to remember that those guys are very awkward to fight and tough to look good against.

Noone put a gun to Haye's head either. If the terms were so horrible he could have just said *** off. Wladimir will get more money against Haye than any other opponent, he knows that. I don't know the exact terms but they are what they are, and both guys agreed to them.

I think you are being overly harsh on Wladimir. The division is not great, but it is hardly his fault. He is active, fights all the available top contenders and has been winning convincingly. THe man is a fighter, not a circuis act. He fights in an intelligent manner so that he has the greatest opportunity to win.

They are boring and robotic. I've seen a few of the brothers fights and never found their fights to be exciting at all.

they have a systematic intelligent and effective approach to boxing. they win by KO most of the time. if you look at guys who go out there and just slug it out for the fans, yea they are exciting for a while, but they get stopped real real soon. wlad doesnt have the chin to support the style many of you want him to have. he fights in a manner which has been winning him fights, MOST of by knockout. i do think he could have stepped it up and knocked out sultan... but 50% of the blame lies with sultan too...

as for vitali, he put a beat down on lennox lewis (who retired following the fight which he had originally agreed to do a rematch of it) i dont see what there is to hate about him.

be glad for the klitschkos. otherwise the titles would maybe still be swapping around between the likes of ruiz, maskaev, and even worse... possibly rahman. who knows maybe eddie chambers would be undisputed heavyweight champ. how pissed would you be then? at least we have champs who show up in shape. **** this new fat generation of heavyweights, im glad they are slowly being cleaned out. the klitschkos are doing you guys a favor. when someone truly good comes along, then we can see if the klitschkos are the real deal, or at least we will see the end to a reign of theirs which served a good purpose: not letting titles continously swap between fatties, has beens, and journeymen.

          just my take.

p.s. the brewster loss was due to severe illness.

This is key for mine. Even if you are not a fan you should like the Klitschkos simply because of who they have prevented from getting world titles!

the division isn't great but at the same time, he isn't exactly fighting the best of that bad division. he never fought chagaev, valuev, ruiz, maskaev when any of them were champs. Sure he would have beaten all of them but, he didn't even step into the ring with them which just makes a horrible hw division that much worse.

and ibragimov wasn't as hard as wlad made it look. when he was agressive, he had a lot of success and sultan would not know what to do. but wlad would revert back to his boring jabbing style and he was just satisfied with ending the fight that way.

thompson was another piece of crap. he just punched and hugges thompson as if thompson has a killer counter punch that he was trying to avoid lol. that was so sad to watch. no excuses for either performance.

and no one put a gun to haye's head but haye tried his best to negotiate this fight. at the end, he realized that his legacy and fans are more important than getting a better split over revenue. haye did whats right for his fans and his legacy over whats right for his pockets. that is rare in boxing nowadays.

and don't tell me that wlad was just doing this cuz he knew he could. he was trying to price himself out of this fight and if that isn't proof enough, then the 2 rematch clauses should be enough proof that wlad was scared and tried his best to avoid this fight. and why shouldn't he be. after all, Haye has tones more power, speed and skill than the 3 guys that ko'd him.

Then, all the sheeple including some posters here at boxingscene, will start to once again become very positive about the heavyweights. The sportswriters and commentators will write and talk about how exciting Haye is - and the kids will believe it and become Haye fans...

If Wladimir wins again, though, as usual there will be virtually no coverage of the fight in the newspapers. Kellerman will make some negative comments to discredit Wlad's win after the fight, as will Teddy Atlas the following Friday on ESPN. On the internet, there will be the usual negative comments from the American sportswriters like Yahoo's Iole, and The Ring's Dettloff, Raskin, Goldman and/or Rosenthal. And there will be the usual anti-Klitschko hate threads in NSB.
you're out of your damn mind, you sound like some wack job conspiracy theorist, the media want an exciting heavyweight champion, whether hes black, white, brown, yellow etc
