The hype is one reason, but that is not a good reason. I think the hate stems from not only the hype, but also because they're white. But the hate is okay, because if you're like me, you don't live through boxingscene and don't give two ****s about what the bitter haters on this site think. People who follow boxing in the real world know that the Klits, when prepared are at the top of the division.

The disdane they widely receive is due to the fact they are two of the most hyped fighters vs what they've actually accomplished.

They are drooled over and spammed about, and neither of them has done anything even remotely close to earning the amount of unwarrented praise they have/had received.
Wlad has at least beat some good names, Vitali has done even less. But HBO overhypes many, look what they did to Sam Peter. He beat NOBODIES and already he was gonna get a shot for a title and got too much praise. Some were comparing him to a young Tyson. But as much as I dont like admitting it being that I'm a big fan and all, you're right about the Klitschko Bros. Just out of curiosity, who did pick to win in Wlad vs Peter?

Bozo picked Peter. But sicne Wlad beat him, he has changed his tune to "He was overhyped", etc. He's a classic punk who rides the next big fighter who has a chance against the Klits, and then when they lose, they're just sorry and overhyped. He never wants to admit that Wlad might just be worth a ****.

Great, looks like another 10 page argument.

                of wlads last 16 opponents

                2 were undefeated
                5 had 1 loss
                6 had 2 losses
                1 had 3 losses
                2 had 4 losses

he hasnt fought anybody with more than 4 career losses in almost 7 years. there isnt a heavweight who has fought consistent competition anywhere near the level that wlad has. and hes still only 29, he was fighting the best the div had to offer and beating them soundly when he was 22 years old, the fact that people criticize his comp just shows blatant ignorance and bias

John Ruiz faced better fighters than Wald.

He's been down something like 9 or 10 times in his last seven fights, stopped twice.

All your nut hugging doesn't change the fact that it's the extreme overhyping that cause so many people to be sick of him.

He's a good fighter, but keep it real.

He cracks like an egg, and doesn't take a punch very well.

He's a top ten Heavy in a very weak era, but far from "the best".
