Didn't Wlad have the WBO title before? I suppose many claim that isn't really 'a title'..
Wasn't Lennox Lewis' chin quite glass?

did u understand the parallels I drew about Christians and fans?
Lennox Lewis's chin was iron compared to Wlad's chin IMO. He took some big shots from Holyfield and Tyson, and others, and he only went down twice over his whole career, Wlad went down 3 times in his last fight.

I agree completely. I wonder how the haters would react if the Klitschkos were black Ukrainians, if there is such a thing.

I think people have this picture in their head that a heavyweight champion should be a big, imposing, black man, not some white European. As ignorant and racist as that sounds, I think thats the truth.

I think Lewis had insticts and reflexes that Wlad doesn't have where defense and using the ring are concerned, and correct me if I'm wrong but Lewis can take a great shot as long as it's not on the chin. It seems that Wlad can't take a shot all that well high on the head, as that's where almost all of Sanders' shots landed, and Peter landed some great looping right hands that landed in the temple area before that last KD. My two cents.

I have Lewis's career on DVD and he has taken some good shots from very heavy handed guys, right on the chin. However like you said he is a naturally defensive/cautious fighter unlike Wlad who is a naturally aggresive fighter. This gives Lewis an advantage in taking shots because he can prepare for them, that and I truly believe his chin is just better.

Yeah now that you mention it, how about that shot from Briggs?
                    And Lewis won that fight.

I don't think Lewis had a good "chin" for lack of a better word. IMO - what he did was "role with the punches". Lewis was also a master at blocking with his arms and shoulders, and clinching. That's something Wlad has only recently started doing.
