            Going back to 8 ounce gloves would be good. 6 ounce gloves is too light in my opinion. Boxers hit harder than mma fighters on average.

                    Repetitive blow, and the whiplash affect of the punches, are the main reasons for serious brain injuries in the sport.

                    Smaller gloves would not increase the risk IMO
