floyd won't have to prance for 6 additional minutes in a conclusive fight
I have thought over the past few years, that making rounds 5 mins long would be beneficial to fight fans..
How many times have you seen action heat up, but then get saved by the bell. Adding on a min or 2 to each round would be sweet...
Maybe only have 6 or 8 fights with longer rounds..

I also like the MMA Pride rounds, when the first round was 10 mins long, and 5 mins after that... In boxing, hardly anything happens in the first round, so they should just make it 10 min round, then have like 3 or 4 rounds of 5 mins each....
That would really test guys, and make for better fights IMO

And even guys lacking punching power like pauli or bradley would be able to rock guys with 4 oz gloves..
Exactly, guys with great defence, shoulder rolls head movement will still be able to do their thing, but the non skilled turtle shell defence with the big gloves that make for boring fights will be come to an end.

It will also improve a fighters handspeed, increase accuracy and clean shots and create more knockouts.

Actually abdusalomov might have been saved by smaller gloves because he most likely would have been knocked out earlier instead of taking punishment for 12 rds. There is a cost to everything and bigger gloves with more padding aren't necessarily safer just like helmets in football aren't necessarily safer. See rugby.

boxing needs less rounds, to reduce damaged brains and so boring decisions end quicker
That is a horrible idea. God I wish when they reduced from 15 they would have gone to 13 instead of 12. I hate having an even number of rds.

Old time fighters were truly great, these things need to be considered when working out who the best ever was

I think they should do like on kickboxer and just wear hand wraps dipped in glass

Bingo. You throw more body shots and you're more measured with your shots to the head. Hence there being way less brain injury and death when bare knuckle boxing was around. Guys faces probably got a lot more screwed up with bruises and cuts but deaths just didn't happen as often even with a TON of rounds.
