If the first pair wasn't approved by the commission, then that's that. However, the second pair was approved. Trying to get Maidana to wear the same gloves as Floyd is ridiculous. Plus they can't force that. If Maidana and his team have no problem with the second pair, there is no issue here.

Well for me it's pretty far fetched to think that Team Maidana could have somehow got a hold of the gloves at any stage of the process knowing that the gloves would have to be checked after the weigh in and by officials pre fight.
